Mesotherapy is a non-invasive treatment where micro-fine needles are used to inject vitamins into the middle layer of the skin – the mesoderm. The vitamin solution is customised for each individual and can be comprised of pharmaceutical preparations, plant extracts, vitamins, and other ingredients thought to help address concerns with pore size, redness of the skin, skin laxity and volume loss, pigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles, acne scarring, and dull skin.

The two industry leaders in mesotherapy, Fusion Fractional Mesotherapy and AquaGold, can be chosen to deliver serums for your specific skin condition or concern. AQUAGOLD® fine touch™ was the first-of-its-kind patented microchannel microinjector, with twenty 24k Gold microchannels that are thinner than a human hair making the treatment as painless as possible while still delicately delivering microdoses of serums to address your skin concerns (2,400 microinjections per minute). Fusion Fractional Mesotherapy offers a selection of vitamins, minerals, growth factors, biomimetic peptides and amino acids into the skin, as well as stimulating collagen through its delivery system.

Avery Aesthetics also offers the option of NCTF BOOSR 135 HA treatment, which contains 60 essential active ingredients including vitamins, amino acids, antioxidants, and hyaluronic acid, promoting collagen stimulation and improving skin health.

Risks

Some possible risks of mesotherapy are:

  • Discomfort.
  • Bruising.
  • Nausea.
  • Swelling.
  • Rash and / or itching.
Suitability for service

Mesotherapy is suitable for men and women who would like to address skin quality including dullness and rough skin, superficial wrinkles, redness, pore size, pigmentation, stretch marks, cellulite, and skin laxity. Mesotherapy is not suitable for deep wrinkles, significant laxity or sagging skin, pigmented lesions (solar lentigines). Mesotherapy should not be undertaken if you have active skin cancers within the treatment areas; open wounds or sores; irritated skin within the treatment zone; an allergy to stainless steel or anaesthetics; a haemorrhagic (bleeding) disorder or haemostatic (bleeding) dysfunction; are pregnant or breastfeeding; or are currently taking medicines with the ingredient isotretinoin (such as Accutane).

Pre-treatment planning

Usual activities can be undertaken prior to treatment. Avoid aspirin and other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs for 1 week prior to your treatment. These can increase your risk of bleeding and bruising.

What to expect

Skin is prepared and then a topical anaesthesia can be applied if required. The serum solution is then delivered to the skin while a vacuum system minimises discomfort and risk of bruising. The treatment is relatively quick with minimal discomfort. Short-term results can include a brighter and smoother skin. Longer term results can include a healthier dermis and epidermis with a more hydrated skin and some reduction in presenting concerns. It is difficult to say what the results will be for you due to limited studies done to test the outcomes from mesotherapy, and the range of individual factors than can affect what results are experienced for each person.

Post-service care

You will be able to return to your daily activities after the treatment.

Pricing

FAQs

What are the ingredients in the vitamin solution?

The solution consists of various vitamins, minerals, enzymes, plant extracts, peptides, anaesthetics, medications and amino acids. The ingredients vary depending on the concerns being addressed and the effect desired while allowing for a greater level of safety when issues such as drug interactions and allergies exist.

How many treatments are required before the results are visible?

This is difficult to answer due to the dearth of studies examining this question, the wide range of solutions that are available and concerns that may be targeted with the mesotherapy. A treatment cycle could require as few as 4 and as many as 10 treatments or more depending on the size of the area being treated and the results desired.

What if I need to reschedule or cancel my appointment?

We understand that you’re busy and your availability can change. We ask that for all non-surgical appointments you provide 72 hours’ notice so that we can reallocate your time. Less than 72 hours’ notice for a change or cancellation of appointment will result in forfeiture of your $100 prepayment.
