Cancellation & Rescheduling Terms & Conditions

At Avery Aesthetics, we are committed to providing exceptional, safe, and patient‑centred care. To honour the time and expertise of our clinical team—and to ensure fair access to appointments for all clients—we have a cancellation and rescheduling policy in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), NSW Fair Trading requirements, AHPRA advertising standards, and the HCCC framework.

Appointment Prepayment Requirement

A $100 prepayment is required at the time of booking all consultation and treatment appointment appointments.

• This prepayment secures the specific appointment date and time reserved for you.
• It is applied to the scheduled appointment only and is not a transferable or ongoing deposit for future bookings.
• The prepayment reflects the time allocated by our registered nurses, dermal clinicians, and administrative team in preparing for your personalised care.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Terms

To ensure fairness and operational continuity, the following conditions apply:

Required Notice Period
• A minimum of 72 hours’ notice is required for all appointment cancellations or rescheduling.

Cancellations or Rescheduling Within 72 Hours
• If you cancel, request to reschedule, or fail to attend your appointment within 72 hours of the scheduled time, the $100 prepayment will be forfeited.

No Exceptions
While we fully acknowledge that illness and unforeseen circumstances can arise, short-notice cancellations still result in loss of clinical time, allocated staff resources, and reduced appointment availability for other clients. For this reason, the policy applies uniformly and without exceptions.

This approach is consistent with the ACL, which permits businesses to retain a prepayment where it represents a genuine reflection of the reasonable costs associated with holding, preparing for, and reserving a service.

Rationale & Professional Standards

At Avery Aesthetics, the time reserved for your appointment includes:

• clinical preparation by registered nurses and dermal clinicians
• review of medical history and treatment planning
• administrative coordination
• dedicated clinical room and equipment allocation

Short-notice cancellations or rescheduling impact both our clinicians and other clients seeking timely care. Upholding a consistent policy ensures fairness, transparency, and respect for the time and expertise of the team.

Compliance With Australian Consumer Law

Under the ACL, businesses are permitted to enforce cancellation fees when:

• the terms are disclosed before booking or payment
• the fee is reasonable and proportionate to the loss incurred
• the fee is not a penalty or unfair contract term

This policy meets these criteria and reflects a genuine pre-estimate of the costs and operational impact associated with reserved appointment time.

Consultation Terms & Conditions

Effective from 1 July 2025

As part of our commitment to delivering premium care and expert advice, Avery Aesthetics will transition from complimentary consultations to a 45-minute, in-depth consultation model at a fee of $100.

Terms and Conditions:

  1. From 1 July 2025, all standard consultations at Avery Aesthetics will be charged at $100 for a 45-minute appointment with our experienced registered nursing and dermal clinicians.
  2. The $100 consultation fee is redeemable on the day of your consultation toward any in-clinic skincare purchase or treatment performed as part of your consultation.
    • Redemption is only available on the same day and cannot be carried forward to future appointments or purchases.
    • Clients must inform the team at the time of booking (online or via phone) if they wish to have a treatment during their consultation.
  3. Eligible skincare products include any available in-clinic brands: SkinCeuticals, Synergie Skin, Revision Skincare, and Procell.
  4. Cancellations, reschedules, or no-shows made within 72 hours of the appointment will result in forfeiture of the $100 fee.
    • No exceptions will be made. This policy reflects the high value and demand for our team's time and expertise.
  5. This change reflects our focus on providing a high standard of personalised care and education in a clinical setting, supported by skilled practitioners and medical-grade products.
  6. These terms are compliant with the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) and NSW Fair Trading guidelines, and do not affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
Service Packages Terms & Conditions

Package Validity:
All aesthetic service packages must be used within 12 months from the date of purchase. After this period, any unused services will expire and are non-refundable.

Booking Appointments:
Appointments must be scheduled in advance and are subject to availability. We recommend booking sessions ahead of time to ensure preferred dates and times.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy:
We require a minimum of 72 hours’ notice for any appointment cancellations or rescheduling. Failure to provide sufficient notice will result in the session and your prepayment being forfeited.

Non-Transferable & Non-Refundable:
Packages are non-transferable and may only be used by the individual named at the time of purchase. All package sales are final and non-refundable, except as required by law.

Medical Eligibility:
All services are subject to a consultation and medical assessment. If at any point a service is deemed unsuitable for medical reasons, we will offer alternative treatments where possible.

Package Modifications:
The provider reserves the right to modify the services included in the package with comparable alternatives, if necessary, due to changes in product availability or best practices in treatment.

Avery Favourites Collection – Terms & Conditions (2025 Edition)

1. Overview

These Terms & Conditions apply to all Avery Favourites packages, promotions, and offers provided by Avery Aesthetics Pty Ltd (“Avery”). They operate in conjunction with Avery’s Standard Clinic Terms & Conditions and any package-specific terms communicated at the time of purchase or booking. Avery complies with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), the AHPRA Guidelines for Advertising Regulated Health Services (2023), and the TGA Therapeutic Goods Advertising Code (2021).

By purchasing or booking an Avery Favourites package, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.

2. Discounts, Promotions & Exclusivity

Avery Favourites packages and promotional pricing are exclusive offers and cannot be combined with any other discount, voucher, gift card, or promotion unless expressly stated in writing.

Promotional prices apply only during the published promotional period. After this date, standard pricing will apply. Discounts cannot be retrospectively applied to prior purchases or bookings. Promotional packages are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and not redeemable for cash except where required by law.

3. Booking & Availability

All appointments are subject to practitioner and device availability. Some treatments may require clinical suitability assessment or consultation prior to booking. Availability may vary depending on practitioner schedules, device maintenance, or clinic closures (e.g. public holidays and Christmas shutdown). Avery reserves the right to reschedule or adjust appointments to ensure safe and effective treatment delivery.

4. Standard Booking Terms

All Avery Aesthetics bookings are governed by the clinic’s Standard Booking and Cancellation Policy, which includes but is not limited to:

• Notice Periods: A minimum of 72 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling. Failure to provide sufficient notice, or non-attendance, may result in a cancellation fee or forfeiture of a pre-paid session.
• Deposits & Payments: Deposits or prepayments may be required to secure your booking and are applied toward your treatment cost. Deposits are non-refundable for late cancellations or no-shows, except as required under Australian Consumer Law.
• Refunds & Consumer Rights: Refunds will be processed in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law. Clients are entitled to a remedy where a service is not delivered with due care and skill, or where it does not match what was agreed or described. Promotional or bonus value is forfeited if a refund is issued for the original paid amount.

5. Package-Specific Terms

Each Avery Favourites package includes specific treatments, number of sessions, timeframes, and expiry dates. These will be clearly stated at the time of purchase. Packages must be used as described and are not interchangeable between treatment types or individuals. Treatments within a package must be completed within the specified validity period, unless extended in writing by Avery. Package inclusions cannot be substituted, redeemed for cash, or transferred to another person or clinic. Some treatments may require ongoing maintenance or multiple sessions for optimal results; this will be discussed during your consultation. Any mention of likely outcomes or benefits is general in nature, and individual results may vary depending on skin type, lifestyle, and adherence to post-care advice.

6. Medical & Clinical Suitability

All treatments are provided subject to professional assessment by a qualified practitioner or dermal therapist. Clinical suitability is determined on an individual basis; Avery reserves the right to decline or modify a treatment plan if it is not deemed safe or appropriate. If a client pre-purchases a package and is later found unsuitable for a treatment, Avery will offer: an alternative treatment of equal or lesser value (where appropriate); or a refund in accordance with ACL. Clients must disclose all relevant medical history, medications, allergies, pregnancy/breastfeeding status, and previous procedures prior to treatment. Failure to do so may affect outcomes and invalidate any liability on Avery’s part.

7. Compliance with AHPRA & TGA Guidelines

All advertising, promotional descriptions, and materials relating to Avery Favourites packages comply with the AHPRA Guidelines for Advertising Regulated Health Services (2023) and the TGA Therapeutic Goods Advertising Code (2021). Avery does not guarantee or imply specific outcomes, results, or timeframes. No testimonials or before-and-after images are used in a manner that could mislead or create unreasonable expectations. All devices and products promoted are TGA-registered or listed where required. Treatments are non-surgical, aesthetic in nature, and performed by appropriately qualified professionals. Clients will receive individualised pre- and post-treatment information outlining expected benefits, risks, downtime, and care instructions.

8. Modifications & Updates

Avery Aesthetics reserves the right to update, modify, or withdraw any Avery Favourites package or associated terms at any time without notice. In the event of any material change, clients who have purchased a package prior to the update will continue to be bound by the terms in place at the time of purchase, unless changes are required by law or regulatory authority.

9. Liability & Disclaimer

While every effort is made to ensure accuracy and safety, Avery accepts no liability for: variations in individual response or results; treatment outcomes affected by undeclared medical conditions or contraindications; or loss, damage, or delay caused by factors beyond Avery’s reasonable control. All treatments are undertaken at the client’s discretion and with informed consent.

11. Non-Surgical Cosmetic Procedures – Regulatory Compliance Statement

All aesthetic treatments at Avery Aesthetics are non-surgical and performed by qualified practitioners under appropriate supervision. Advertising and communication comply with the AHPRA Guidelines for Advertising Regulated Health Services (2023) and the Therapeutic Goods Advertising Code (2021). Treatments are not risk-free; individual suitability, risks, expected outcomes, and post-care requirements are discussed during consultation prior to any procedure. Avery Aesthetics does not guarantee specific outcomes, as treatment responses vary by individual. Clients are encouraged to seek independent advice if uncertain about any treatment decision. Cooling-off recommendations are observed for all procedures involving injectables or other higher-risk non-surgical treatments. All therapeutic devices and skincare used are TGA-listed or registered where required. Consent is obtained prior to treatment, and clients may withdraw consent at any time before commencement.

Gift Card Terms & Conditions

1. Issuance & Redemption

  • Avery Aesthetics Gift Cards (“Gift Cards”) are issued by Avery Aesthetics Pty Ltd.
  • Gift Cards are redeemable only for skincare product purchases or aesthetic treatments performed following a consultation at Avery Aesthetics.
  • Gift Cards cannot be redeemed for surgical procedures, cash, or used to purchase other Gift Cards.
  • Medical Peel Gift Cards are redeemable only for a medical grade peel and must be used in conjunction with another appropriate booked treatment at Avery Aesthetics.

2. Validity & Expiry

  • Each Gift Card is valid for 3 years (36 months) from the date of issue.
  • After the expiration date, the Gift Card will be void, and any remaining balance will be forfeited. No extensions, refunds, or replacements will be permitted.

3. Usage & Balance

  • Gift Cards may be redeemed in full or in part; any remaining balance can be used on subsequent visits within the validity period.
  • Avery Aesthetics is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged Gift Cards. Any remaining value will be considered forfeited in such cases.

4. Non-transferable & Non-refundable

  • Gift Cards are non-transferable and intended for use by the original recipient unless otherwise agreed in writing.

5. Cancellation & Returns

  • Once purchased, Gift Cards cannot be cancelled, returned, or exchanged for cash.
  • Any goods or services purchased using a Gift Card are subject to Avery Aesthetics’ standard cancellation, rescheduling, and refund policies.

6. Lost or Stolen Cards

  • If your Gift Card is lost, stolen, or damaged, please notify Avery Aesthetics immediately. Replacement may be provided at our discretion, provided the remaining balance can be verified. Administration fees may apply.

7. Change of Terms

  • Avery Aesthetics reserves the right to modify these Gift Card Terms & Conditions at any time. Any changes will apply to Gift Cards issued after the date of the change and will be published on our website.

Terms and Conditions:

  1. This offer is available exclusively to post-surgical patients of Avery Reconstructive & Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and is non-transferable.
  2. The 10% off applies only to individual, full-priced light, laser and device-based treatments performed at Avery Aesthetics.
  3. The 10% off does not apply to:
