REJURAN® is the newest revolutionary Bio-Regenerator. It is a gel formulation of polynucleotides (PN), made of wild salmon DNA fragments extracted using proprietary DNA Optimising Technology DOT™.

REJURAN® is available in five distinct formulations. Each one is designed for use in different areas of the face or skin types, with variations in texture, concentration, and potential applications as determined by a qualified practitioner.

REJURAN® Classic has a medium-viscosity gel consistency, which may be suited to use across broader facial areas, including the cheeks and forehead. It is typically selected by practitioners for patients seeking overall improvement in skin quality and texture.

REJURAN®i is formulated with a lower viscosity than Rejuran Classic, Rejuran i is designed for use on areas of delicate skin, particularly around the eyes. Due to its thinner consistency, it may be considered in cases where reduced visibility or lower product volume is preferred. It is often considered in clinical practice for people concerned about the appearance of fine lines, under-eye pigmentation, or puffiness, depending on individual assessment.

REJURAN®s contains a more concentrated formulation and is sometimes selected for use in areas with textural irregularities, such as acne-related or post-inflammatory scarring. The formulation may support collagen remodelling and improve the appearance of uneven skin surfaces over time, depending on individual skin response.

REJURAN® Skin Booster (HB) Combining polynucleotides with hydrating agents, this formulation is used to support skin hydration and elasticity. Practitioners may recommend it for patients with dry or dull skin, or those seeking smoother skin texture.

REJURAN® Tone-Up Booster Unlike the injectable formulations, Rejuran Tone-Up Booster is a topical serum. It is generally applied post-procedure or alongside skin treatments such as microneedling (where clinically appropriate). This formulation is designed to support skin brightness and may help even the appearance of skin tone.

Risks

The polynucleotide (PN) is biocompatible and generally well-tolerated by human skin.

Possible risks of treatment include:

  • Redness, itching, sensitivity, and/or small bumps that should subside within 1-2 days.
  • Some flaking, dryness and peeling may occur and last several days.
  • Rare complications that can occur include allergic reactions and infection, blanching or whitening of the skin, and severe swelling.
Suitability for service

REJURAN® addresses skin laxity, dark circles, dull skin, fine facial wrinkles, sensitive and thin skin, and acne scars and stretch marks. It is also an alternative to medicine-based treatments. You are not suitable for REJURAN® treatments if you have an active skin infection, pregnant or breastfeeding, or have a history of severe allergies or anaphylaxis.

Pre-treatment planning

Avoid alcohol in the week prior to your treatment because it can increase the risk of bruising and swelling. Also avoid aspirin and anti-inflammatory medications 2 weeks prior.

What to expect

REJURAN® is injected into the skin at multiple sites. Topical numbing can be applied prior to the treatment. Downtime is typically minimal, although you will notice small bumps in your skin for the first 12-36 hours. Results can last up to 12 months, and repeated treatments are recommended to maintain the effect.

Post-service care

Avoid strenuous exercise or other heat-inducing activities for the first 24 hours after your treatment. Do not apply makeup for the first 12 hours after your treatment or use facial products with retinoids or other potentially irritating ingredients. Aspirin and alcohol should be avoided for 12-48 hours after your treatment.

FAQs

Do I need a certain number of treatments to see results?

For a full face, eye area, or treatment for scars 3 treatments are recommended, 2-4 weeks apart. For maintenance 1 session is recommended every 6-12 months. For many people results begin to show within the first week of treatment. However, the best results are seen 8-12 weeks after the completion of the course of treatments (i.e., the 3 treatments).

What if I need to reschedule or cancel my appointment?

We understand that you’re busy and your availability can change. We ask that for all non-surgical appointments you provide 72 hours’ notice so that we can reallocate your time. Less than 72 hours’ notice for a missed appointment, reschedule, or cancellation of your appointment will result in forfeiture of your $100 prepayment. Please see our Terms & Conditions.
