Mel has a wealth of experience in nursing including being an educator for nurses and doctors in Sydney before moving up to Newcastle in 2009.

She enjoys the small local community that Newcastle offers as it encourages more human interactions instead of just nurse-to-patient interactions.

Mel’s personal goal is to put you at ease from day one, making you feel safe as she partners with you through your journey with care and compassion.

Mel enjoys the sense of accomplishment she feels at the end of each day knowing that she has provided a great level of care and giving her full attention to each of those who have walked through Avery’s door.

Having brought up three children, Mel is not afraid of anything, so you can trust that you are in good hands.
